UAA Esports Valorant takes third in debut semester

UAA's first Valorant team played for third place against semester rivals New Mexico State University (NMSU) on Monday, Dec. 1.
After dropping the first map, UAA bounced back by taking maps 2 and 3 in a Best of 3 series. This was the third time that UAA has faced off against NMSU: once in the preseason and two times in regular play. While both teams were hoping to square off against each other in the Championship match, they had to settle to test their mettle for 3rd place.
UAA's victory over NMSU landed them third place in Div7 in their debut semester, and a huge amount of points towards the national competition in the spring.
