Student Health and Counseling Center
The Student Health and Counseling Center (SHCC) offers low cost, quality health care for the campus community. We provide preventative health care, individual counseling, outreach, and health education.
The SHCC providers and staff value all students and offers evidence-based, comprehensive, and compassionate services aimed to maintain and improve physical and mental wellbeing.

UAA students have access to mental healthcare through Talkspace, an online therapy website and app that connects you to a licensed therapist. There are no fees or charges. Students can schedule a mental health screening appointment with us at 907-786-4050 to learn more.
Need immediate mental health assistance?
Flu and COVID 19 vaccines are available. Students, staff or faculty can schedule an appointment at 907-786-4050.
Insurance Billing: We courtesy bill LewerMark, United Healthcare Student Resources and Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield policies. We will provide others with a detailed statement for insurance reimbursement.
