To students in UAA Justice Center instructor Glen Klinkhart鈥檚 Criminal Investigation course, the end of the semester is, quite literally, murder. For his lab practicum, Klinkhart鈥攁 homicide detective, true crime author, and computer forensics expert鈥攕tages the scene of his own murder in a UAA lecture hall and challenges the budding investigators in his class to solve the crime.

Mental Health Care Among Juvenile and Adult Correctional Populations

A panel of officials from the 熊猫在线视频 Department of Corrections (DOC) and the 熊猫在线视频 Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) discussed how 熊猫在线视频 tackles the job of providing mental health care to juvenile and adult correctional populations. Nationally, more than half of prison and jail inmates have mental health problems, and probation/parole departments provide essential mental health services to their clients.
